Accessibility Statement

We build this site to be usable by everyone, and we would rather hear about a barrier than have you work around it.

Effective August 5, 2026. We version this document and keep prior versions available on request.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is part of our build process rather than something we retrofit, and we conduct manual keyboard and screen-reader testing on our booking flow.

What we have done

Semantic HTML with a correct heading structure and landmark regions. Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element. Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text, calibrated in both light and dark themes. Text that reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling. Touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels. Status messages announced to assistive technology. All animation suppressed for users who prefer reduced motion.

We never block pasting into form fields.

Known limitations

We are honest about where we fall short. Our coverage map is presented as an image with an accompanying text list of ZIP codes rather than an interactive map; the text list is the authoritative version.

Alternatives

Every task on this site can also be completed by telephone. If any part of this website prevents you from booking a repair or getting help, call us and we will complete it with you at no disadvantage.

Reporting a barrier

Email hello@sosappliancesrepairs.com or call us. We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days and to describe a remediation plan within ten. Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using if any.

Formal approvals

This statement will be updated with the date of our most recent independent audit once completed.
