Appliance Repair in Monsey, NY

Monsey is a hamlet in the Town of Ramapo, next to Spring Valley and about 20 miles north of our base in Leonia. Its streets mix single-family homes, many enlarged over the years, with two-families and newer townhouse developments, and its kitchens tend to work harder than most: laundry for a large household, a second refrigerator or freezer, and in kosher kitchens often two ovens or two dishwashers kept separate for meat and dairy. Many households keep Shabbat and Yom Tov, so Sabbath mode matters here. We set up and repair Sabbath mode on ovens, ranges and refrigerators, and we show you how to turn it on and off on your model, because the button sequence differs by brand and is easy to forget between holidays. When the mode will not engage, the cause is sometimes a setting and sometimes a keypad or control fault, which we can find and fix. Many kitchens also run the oven's self-clean cycle before Pesach, and that cycle's very high heat is a common moment for a door lock, thermal fuse or control to fail. Running it a week or two ahead, rather than the night before, leaves time for a repair if one is needed. Every repair comes with a written estimate first and a 12-month parts-and-labor warranty.
