Appliance Repair in Spring Valley, NY

Spring Valley is a village of about 33,000 people in Rockland County, roughly 20 miles north of our base in Leonia, built around the crossing of Route 59 and Route 45 near Thruway Exit 14. It is denser than most of Rockland: garden apartment complexes, two- and three-family houses and older single-family homes on small lots. In busy homes the appliances work hard. A washer and dryer that run several loads a day wear out belts, bearings, drum rollers and door locks far sooner than the same pair in a two-person household, and a refrigerator that is opened all day works its door gaskets and defrost system harder too. When a heavily used machine fails, we check the worn parts around the fault as well, so the repair lasts. In apartment and two-family buildings with shared basement laundry, we also check the dryer vent, because long shared runs fill with lint quickly and are the usual reason clothes take two cycles. Many households here and in neighboring Monsey keep Shabbat, and we set up and repair Sabbath mode on ovens, ranges and refrigerators. Nanuet, across the Clarkstown line to the southeast, is covered on the same route. Every repair starts with a written estimate and carries a 12-month parts-and-labor warranty.
